Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs & Gilgit Baltistan and States & Frontier Regions, Engr Amir Muqam, has denounced the tragic and heart-wrenching events of May 9 as a conspiracy against the country. In a statement on May 9 incident, the federal minister regretted that miscreants attacked on Jinnah House and Military installations on 9th May and disgraced the Martyrs. He said that Pakistan Army rendering sacrifices for the peace in motherland and even our enemies have admitted the bravery of our forces. He also regretted that miscreant broke the statue of Colonol Sher Khan and disgrace of our Martyrs. Engr Amir Muqam said that the miscreants also attacked on Radio Pakistan Peshawar and burnt the precious archive. He said that Chagi mountains model that was constructed in memory of May 28, 1998 nuclear explosions were also burnt down at premises of Radio Pakistan Peshawar. He said that Swat Motorway toll plaza and others properties were also burnt down on May 9 by the attackers. He said that destruction to public, government and defence installations caused by May 9 vandalism was beyond imagination and culprits could not escape from the clutches of law. Engr Amir Muqam said that miscreants would have to answer to May 9 vandalism and attack on monuments of Martyrs, Defense installation and government institutions. He said that now it is crystal clear that these miscreants were working on enemy’s agenda. *********
