H.E Mr. WADA Mitsuhiro , Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, Paid a courtesy call to Minister for Law and Justice senator Azam Nazeer Tarar on 23rd April 2024 in Islamabad. Both sides discussed issues of mutual interest. Culture and traditions of both countries came under discussion. Law minister stated that Japan is a very close friend of Pakistan and has been there in times of need. Law minister specifically lauded the efforts of Japan during floods of 2022. Both sides also discussed the security situation and the measures which are being taken to ensure the security of all the foreign personnels present in the country. Law minister underscored the government's resolve and special focus on the security concerns. Govt is organizing a special protection unit on the direction of Prime Minister. Law minister said that we are hopeful that situation will alsoget better in terms of economy. Government is keen and determined for Economic revival. The ongoing work on legal reforms was also discussed between the two sides. In conclusion Law minister assured all kind of assistance from the Govt side to facilitate the foreign dignatories present in the country..
