Finance Minister, Mr. Muhammad Aurangzeb, met with Mr. Andrew Mitchell, UK's Minister of State for Development and Africa. Acknowledged long-term partnership between Pakistan and UK in the areas of education, health and financial sector. Briefed him on the favourable economic indicators of the country and priority areas of taxation, energy sector and SOE reforms. Emphasized the need to work closely with provinces on the issues of taxation and primary surplus. Invited British International Investment (BII) to invest in bankable projects in Pakistan.
