PR No.99 Condolence Message Islamabad

Finance Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has expressed deep sense of grief and sorrow over the sad demise of prominent playwright and writer, Fatima Surayya Bajiya.

In his condolence message the Minister lauded the literary contribution of late Fatima Surayya saying she would always be remembered for the popular dramas, series and serials she wrote during PTV’s golden era. Her plays highlighted important social issues had family orientation and were liked by viewers of all age groups, men and women alike. Above all she was a humane and humble person, liked by everyone who ever came to know her.

The Minister prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
