Ambassador Masood Khan met US Congressman William R. (Bill) Keating and
Representative Brad Schneider to brief them about phased repatriation of
undocumented foreigners from Pakistan.
Situation in the Middle East and the upward trajectory in Pak-US relations was also
discussed with a shared commitment to continue working together for strengthening
Pak-US bilateral ties.

Congressman William R. (Bill) Keating represents Massachusetts’ 9th Congressional
District and was elected to the United States House of Representatives.
He is a senior member of the House, sitting on both the Foreign Affairs and Armed
Services Committees; and currently serves as Chairman of the Europe, Eurasia, Energy
and Environment subcommittee of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
Announcing his meeting on X, Rep. Keating said, “Productive meeting with Pakistani
Ambassador Masood Khan regarding the opening of an IOM facility to process US-
bound Afghan allies in Pakistan. As I wrote to the Ambassador in Oct., we will continue
to protect Afghans and their families who risked their lives to protect the US from
terrorism.”
During meeting with Representative Brad Schneider, the Ambassador had the
opportunity to listen to his views and insights on durable peace in the Middle East. Pak
envoy also briefed Congressman Schneider on phased repatriation of undocumented
foreigners from Pakistan. Ways to ways to address climate change and the issue of
unregulated migration also came under discussion.
