International Finance Corporation’s Visit to Power Division

Interim Minister for Energy Muhammad Ali held a meeting with the delegation of International Finance Corporation headed by Khawaja Aftab Ahmed Regional Director Middle East, Pakistan and Afghanistan today at Power Division. The discussion for the efficient working of DISCOs for better recoveries was held in the meeting. The options for improvement of line losses and better transmission were discussed. Different trends across the globe were analysed. The trends for countries with improved model were discussed. The model for India and Brazil was discussed in detail. Minister for Energy assured complete cooperation for future reforms and efficient working of DISCOs. *-*-*-*-*
