A farewell ceremony in honour of Ex Secretary Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Mr. Zahoor Ahmed was held here in Islamabad by Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan. Secretary Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Babar Hayat Tarar and senior officers of the Ministry, Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council and Gilgit Baltistan Council attended the ceremony. Paying rich tribute to Mr Zahoor Ahmed, officers of the Ministry said that he had always been a source of inspiration for them who tried his level best to perform his assigned duties with utmost honesty and integrity during this period.His guidance on different issues proved very fruitful in achieving official tasks, they added. Ex Secretary Kashmir Affairs Mr Zahoor Ahmed expressed his gratitude towards the Ministry officers and said that cooperation of Ministry officials and their team work enabled him to perform his duties in a befitting manner. He expressed his best wishes for incumbent secretary Kashmir Affairs Mr . Babar Hayat Tarar and said that Mr Babar Hayat was a prolific civil servant whose experience and guidance will go a long way in further improving performance of the Ministry. On this occasion Mr. Babar Hayat Tarar wished Mr Zahoor Ahmed a bright future and prayed for his success for newly assigned portfolio of Secretary Information and broadcasting. Mr Babar Hayat Tarar also presented an honorary shield and bouquet to Ex Secretary Kashmir Affairs Mr Zahoor Ahmed on behalf of the Ministry on this occasion.
