(Bahrain) Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Javed Malik met with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at Sakheer Palace and presented his credentials of appointment. Upon arrival at the Palace the new Ambassador was warmly received by the Chief of Royal protocol and an impressively turned out contingent of Royal Guards present a salute of honour along with the National Anthem of Pakistan.

In his meeting with the King, Ambassador Javed Malik conveyed the greetings of the government and people of Pakistan and discussed various initiatives to promote and expand Pakistan’s economic trade and strategic relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain. H.M. King Hamad Al Khalifa fondly remembered his recent visit to Pakistan and his meetings with Prime Minister in 2015 in Bahrain and expressed his warm affection for the people of Pakistan. While extended his greetings to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, HM King Hamad Al Khalifa assured Ambassador Javed Malik of continued cooperation between the two countries. The Foreign Minister of Bahrain Sheikh Khaled Al Khalifa, Senior Officials of the Royal Palace and members of the Royal Family were present on the occasion.
