Australian High commissioner Mr. Neil Hawkins called on Federal Minister for Law and Justice Ahmad Irfan Aslam at Ministry of Law and Justice on 31st august 2023. Issues of mutual interest including bilateral relations and the ways to strengthen these relations were discussed. Australia has large community of Pakistani immigrants and students. Australia values its relations with Pakistan, said Australian High Commissioner. Both countries share amicable relations. Both sides talked about the promotion of inter faith harmony in the society. Australian High Commissioner appreciated the role of Law Minister in the Riko Diq Case. Both sides deliberated upon the opportunities to enhance cooperation in the mining sector. Law Minister said that Pakistan has huge mining potential. Mining is an important industry in Pakistan. Pakistan is rich in resources with extensive mineral reserves, said the Law Minister.
