Muhammad Ali assumed the charge as the Caretaker Minister for the Ministry of Energy to look after matters of Energy, Power, and Petroleum today .He held a meeting at Power Division where he was briefed on the progress and challenges of the Power Division. On his first day, he devised a general plan for working towards an efficient energy sector. With over 30 years of domestic and international work experience in finance, technology, digital media, real estate and manufacturing sectors, as well as in Pakistan’s public sector, Mr. Ali has also served as a Director on the Boards of reputable companies like Engro Corporation Limited, Karachi Stock Exchange (Guarantee) Limited, Dawood Bank Limited, etc. He has also served as Chairman of the Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
