Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Sajid Hussain Turi has disclosed that ten years ago EOBI has paid a huge some amount of 2600 million to Park View City a housing society owned by the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Istehkam party, Abdul Aleem Khan) for total 742 plots (684 residential and 58 commercial) and another 226 commercial plots in the River Edge Housing Scheme Lahore, which is now known as Park View Society. At the same time, the housing society Eden owned by the former Chief Justice Supreme Court Iftikhar Chaudhry Arsalan Iftikhar Chaudhry will also have to answer. It should be remembered that this land was bought at double the price at that time. While three-fourth of this property has not been completed so far. While all payments have been made in lump sum 10 years ago. On which no positive progress could be made so far. It should be noted that the current value of this property has exceeded more than eight billion rupees. This is a huge loss for the Ministry of Overseas as well as EOBI and a criminal step on the part of the society owners. Which should be stopped in any case. The federal minister assured that every possible effort will be made to get back the hard earned money of the workers from these possession mafias. It is our effort that the resources of the Ministry of Overseas & EOBI will not be wasted in any case. Along with this, I also request all the relevant institutions including the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan to take timely notice of the relevant case and bring the culprits to justice.
