PR No. 175 NA Speaker warmly felicitates to newly elected office bearers of CPNE Islamabad: May 27, 2023

Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaz Ashraf warmly felicitated Mr. Irshad Arif, Mr.Anwar Sajidi and Mr. Ejaz ul Haq on their election as President, Senior Vice President and Secretary General of CPNE respectively. While conveying heartfelt congratulations to newly elected office bearers of CPNE, he expressed his confidence that newly elected office bearers would render CPNE more proactive and well organized council for protecting rights of media representatives. While applauding the historic and historical contribution of print media in the the progress and development of Pakistan, he said that print media would continue to play this significant role. Further, he paid tribute to all media personnels for serving the cause of free and independent media. He said, " parliament of Pakistan will remain at forefront to safeguard and legislate for ensuring freedom and independence of media in country."
