Mr. Hassan Mehmood Yousufzai, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs (MOMA), along with officers bid farewell to Mr. Syed Muhammad Tariq Huda, Additional Secretary of the MOMA, at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs today, on 18-04-2023. Mr. Tariq Huda, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Custom Services (17th Common Training Program), was posted as Additional Secretary (In-charge), Ministry of Maritime Affairs since Dec. 21, 2022. During his tenure as Additional Secretary Maritime Affairs, Mr. Tariq Huda has been a driving force behind numerous initiatives aimed at promoting the growth and development of the maritime sector in the country. He has played a pivotal role in shaping policies and implementing reforms to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of maritime operations, boost trade facilitation, and improve maritime governance. His unwavering commitment to improving the maritime sector's regulatory framework, promoting maritime education and training, and fostering international cooperation has been instrumental in advancing the maritime agenda in Pakistan. The ministry officials acknowledged the contributions of Mr. Tariq Huda and appreciated his efforts for his significant contributions to the maritime sector during his time in office.
