Special Assistant to the Prime Minister/Minister of State on Public Communication & Digital Platforms, Fahd Haroon met with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif earlier today to discuss the progress made in the domain of Public Communication and Digital Pakistan. During the meeting, Fahd Haroon apprised the Honourable Prime Minister of the latest developments in the areas of public Communication and Digital Platforms, including the steps taken to promote digital literacy and expand e-businesses in the country. The Prime Minister directed Fahd Haroon to continue his efforts and complete the given tasks, and specifically instructed him to counter misinformation, especially in the digital domain. Fahd Haroon expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for his guidance and support. Also was discussed the prevailing political situation in the country and exchanged views on the same. Fahd Haroon expressed his commitment to work closely with all stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the Digital Pakistan vision, which aims to accelerate the country's digital transformation and also enable citizens to reap the benefits of the digital economy. The meeting ended on a positive note, with the PM reaffirming his optimism for the future of Pakistan and the determination to overcome the challenges faced by the country.
