A delegation led by the Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resources Development Sajid Hussain Turi met with UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization HE Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Manan Al Alwar on the sidelines of the World Government Summit in Dubai to discuss bilateral relations, employment opportunities for Pakistanis in the UAE and Other issues were discussed. Issues of mutual interest were discussed in detail. The two counterparts also discussed various issues faced by Pakistani workers in the UAE, including their working conditions and the overall welfare of the Pakistani community. Both sides explored ways to further enhance the existing cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE in the field of employment. Federal Minister Sajid Hussain Turi said that the bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan are distinguished, brotherly and strong, based on religion, culture and trade. Both the ministries agreed to jointly address the issues of Pakistani workers and community in UEA. Pakistani minister hoped that the UAE would solve the problems of Pakistani workers and the community on a priority basis. Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Manan Al Alwar appreciated the contribution of Pakistani workers to the economy of the UAE and assured the delegation that his ministry would be committed to protecting the rights of workers and ensuring their welfare. Sajid Hussain Turi said that UAE has the largest number of Pakistani manpower and Pakistan is keen to provide more manpower to UAE to meet its manpower requirement. The meeting ended on a positive note, with both sides agreeing to continue their collaboration and work towards ensuring the protection and welfare of Pakistani workers in the UAE. Meanwhile, on the sidelines of the World Government Summit 2023, Federal Minister Sajid Hussain Tori held meetings with various delegations and ministers.
