Speaker of National Assembly Offers Condolences to People of Turkey Following Devastating Earthquake

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Raja Perviaz Ashraf, visited the Turkish Embassy in Islamabad today and offered his heartfelt condolences to the people of Turkey following the recent earthquake that caused widespread devastation and loss of life. In a show of solidarity, the Speaker recorded his thoughts in the condolence book at the embassy, expressing the sorrow and sympathy felt by the Parliament and people of Pakistan. "Pakistan and Turkey share a strong relationship of mutual trust, harmony and brotherhood," said Speaker Ashraf. "We have always stood by each other during times of crisis, and this devastating earthquake is no different. The Government and people of Pakistan offer their full support and stand in solidarity with their Turkish brothers and sisters during this difficult time." The Speaker's visit to the Turkish Embassy reflects the deep ties of friendship and compassion between the two countries and serves as a symbol of hope and support for the people of Turkey as they work to recover from this tragedy.
