PR No. 152 Meeting of CEO, ICIEC and CEO Exim Bank with Minister for Economic Affairs Islamabad; December 16, 2022

Mr. Oussama Abdel Rahman Kiassi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment & Export Credit (ICIEC) with his 3-Members delegation is on one-week (12th December to 17th December, 2022) visit to Pakistan in collaboration with EXIM Bank of Pakistan. The CEO, ICIEC along with CEO Exim Bank visited the Economic Affairs Division on 13th December, 2022. Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Minister for Economic Affairs welcomed the delegation.The CEO ICIEC briefed the Minister for Economic Affairs and team on ICIEC financial products for the business community. The Minister underscored the significance of insurance for not only the business community but also government owned assets. Both sides agreed that there a lot more that can be done through mutual collaboration and partnership. They discussed capacity building of business community with regard to opportunities available at ICIEC. The Minister for Economic Affairs appreciated the role and endeavors of IsDB and ICIEC team at a very challenging time.
