OPENING REMARKS Excellencies, Assalamuailaikum and a very Good morning to all of you. It is indeed a great pleasure and honor for me to host the Ninth Justice Ministers Meeting of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). As the host of the Meeting, I on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan also want to extend a very warm welcome to all the Hon’able Justice Ministers of the SCO Member States for virtual participation in the Ninth Meeting of the Justice Ministers of the SCO. It was our desire that our distinguished guests shall come to our homeland and honor us the privilege of extending our traditional hospitality. However, due to COVID and other engagements, the Members were unable to visit Pakistan. Nevertheless, we are optimist that in the near future we will have this opportunity to welcome and host you all in Pakistan either in one of the SCO or a bilateral event. CONCLUDING REMARKS of Federal Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar at Ninth Meeting of the Justice Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) I would like to once again thank you Excellencies for your kind participation in the Ninth Meeting of Justice Ministers of the SCO Member States. I would like to conclude the Meeting on this note that, the future of the SCO is very bright and I remain convinced that if we stick together, act jointly for the steady development of the SCO, ensure rule of law, we will sure reach our destination and transform our region into a peaceful, stable, prosperous and beautiful home.
