Iftikhar Ali Shallwani, Federal Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Works visited project of Federal Government Employees Housing Authority in Sector G-14,Islamabad, today. During the course of visit, Iftikhar Ali Shallwani was briefed about the progress of development work. He emphasized the need to augment the development work atthe site. Secretary Housing further expressed concern with regard to encroachmentand all the built up properties on the site and advised the same needs to be removed away in close consultation with the communities living there. He also said that incompliance of the Islamabad High Court orders, survey of G-14/1 to be completedand report may be submitted as soon as possible. In order to provide modern residential facilities to the employees, Mr. Shallwani emphasized at the quality and timely completion of the sector activities. Mr. Shahzad Nawaz Cheema, Joint Secretary Housing, Mr. Tariq Rashid, DG(FGEHA) and other officials of the Ministry and Authority were present during the visit. *-*-*-*-*-*-*
