Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye, H.E. Dr. Mehmet Pacaci called on Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Mr. Miftah Ismail at Finance Division today. CEO Hayat Kimya Pakistan Mr. Fatih Ustunel, CFO Hayat Kimya Pakistan Mr. Onur Kilic, Chairman FBR and other senior officers attended the meeting.
The Finance Minister welcomed the Ambassador of Turkiye and both exchanged views about the long-standing religious, cultural, political, economic and social ties between Pakistan and Turkey. The Finance Minister also highlighted about the future potential areas for strengthening these relations especially on business and investment fronts. It was apprised that present government of Pakistan is undertaking multiple structural reforms for facilitating the foreign investment in Pakistan.
Ambassador of Turkiye H.E. Dr. Mehmet Pacaci shared warm sentiments with the Finance Minister of Pakistan and also shared that the Republic of Turkiye has strong bilateral ties with Pakistan on various fronts. Recalling PM Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Turkey and his meeting with the Turkish investors, the Ambassador briefed the Finance Minister on extending Turkish investment in various sectors of Pakistan and stressed that Turkey aims at enhancing and strengthening the economic ties.
Finance Minister Mr. Miftah Ismail welcomed Turkish investments in various fields in Pakistan and assured the Ambassador of full cooperation and facilitation to Turkish investments in Pakistan.
