Iftikhar Ali Shallwani, Federal Secretary Ministry of Housing and Works, visited Green Enclave 1 & 2, Bhara Kahu and Kashmir Avenue Apartments, Sector G-13 Islamabad along with Tariq Rashid, Director General Federal Government Employees Housing Authority. During the visit, Iftikhar Ali Shallwani was briefed about the progress of work in Green Enclave project that is situated in Bhara Kahu. Secretary Housing emphasized to complete the project in the shortest possible time and accelerate the pace of work on the project as people are waiting for their plots. Moreover, their trust and hopes in the department need to be maintained through efficacy and following deadlines. He also directed that special attention shall be paid to gardening activities to create a more conducive environment in the Green Enclave. While visiting Kashmir Avenue Apartments, Sector G-13, Islamabad, Secretary Housing was apprised about the work done so far. Iftikhar Ali Shallwani has shown keen interest and concern over the work being suspended by the contractor due to the steep escalation in the prices of the raw materials which as per the directions of Shallwani must be verified from bureau of statistics. He directed FGEHA to take all the necessary actions to deliver the project on time. He also said that the quality and timely completion of the project must be done in order to provide modern residential facilities to employees in the shortest possible time. *******
