While acting upon the advice of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, President Dr Arif Alvi has approved the removal of Mr. Mohammad Sarwar from the position of Governor of the Punjab and appointed Mr. Omar Sarfraz Cheema as Governor Punjab under the Article 101 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973.
