Visiting Minister for Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia HRH Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif along with his seven member delegation called on his Pakistan counterpart Sheikh Rashid Ahmed in latter’s office on Monday. Welcoming the Saudi Minister for Interior to his Ministry, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that visit of HRH Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif would indeed further strengthen the cordial relations between the two brotherly countries; Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He said that Pakistan extends greatest significance to the relations towards Saudi Arabia, their people and the Royal family. Both sides discussed hosts of issues including regional security situation and enhancing cooperation and coordination between the ministries of two countries to meet the security challenges confronting Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Both agreed that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia can both meet all kinds of security challenges with closer coordination between the two miniseries. Both agreed to strengthen contacts between the two sides. Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed thanked his Saudi counterpart for extending greater hospitality and livelihood to the two million Pakistanis working in Saudi Arabia. He said that remittances sent by these Pakistanis are a great source of income for their families inside Pakistan. Saudi Minister for Interior HRH Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif also extended invitation to his Pakistani counterpart to visit Kingdom to further strengthen Pak-Saudi relationship. Besides Advisor to the Prime Minister on Accountability and Interior, Brig ® Musaddiq Abbasi and Secretary Interior Yousaf Naseem Khokhar, other seniors officials of the Ministry were also present in the meeting.
