Nowshera- Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Brig (R) Ijaz Ahmad Shah attended the Passing out parade of Anti Narcotics Force as Chief Guest. While addressing the ceremony he congratulated all the officers and individuals who successfully completed their training. "I wish that you live up to the expectations of your parents and loved ones" said the Minister. He said that he was extremely proud to see such well organized and professionally conducted parade.
The Federal Minister said that the profession that you have chosen is very challenging but it plays a significant role in saving the future generations of Pakistan. He further said that it's time of fifth generation warfare and our younger generation has to be very cautious in its conduct. "Saving our future generations from the menace of drugs is our target" said Ijaz Shah. He further said that it is not only Anti Narcotics Force's responsibility to fight and eradicate drugs but it's a collective responsibility of each and every individual of this country. He also reinforced the fact that teachers and parents have key role to play in creating awareness amongst young minds. Addressing the pass out officials he said that I sincerely hope that you live upto the oath that you have taken and firm in your commitment to the job you have chosen.
Talking about national and global landscape, he said that I will take this opportunity to request all of you to get vaccinated and take precautions so that we can stay safe from new variant of COVID-19. "Pakistan's role against pandemic has been globally recognized" he added. We are hopeful that this variant will not enter Pakistan but regardless, getting vaccinated and taking precautions can save you, he added. He also said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan's Green Pakistan dream will become a reality. He said that our efforts to reduce climatic challenges have been internationally recognized.
Towards the end, the Federal Minister congratulated the pass outs again and thanked DG ANF Major General Ghulam Shabbir Narejo, Commandant ANF Academy and Commandant Armoured Corps Centre, Nowshera. He wished all the candidates all the best for their professional life.
