A delegation of Chinese CEOs called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at Islamabad today.
The delegation included Mr. Jin Huan, CEO Easy Prefabricated Homes (Pvt.) Ltd., Mr. Ma Jiming, CEO La He Trading International (Pvt.) td., Mr. Liu Yuxue, CEO Yisheng Industrial Products Co., Mr. Wen Taili, CEO Ledzone (Pvt.) Ltd., Mr. Lin Chengzhou, CEO Qiang Sheng Pakistan Ceramics (Pvt.) Ltd., Mr. Lin Bin, CEO Snow White Lavation (Pvt.) Ltd., Mr. Zhang Shilu, CEO Zhengbang Agriculture Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd., Mr. Long Gang, CEO Exert Tech (Pvt.)
Ltd., and Ms. Chen Yan,CEO Challenge Fashion (Pvt.) Ltd.Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Mr. Nong Rong also attended.
Federal Ministers Shaukat Fayaz Tarin, Asad Umar, Advisor Commerce Abdul Razaq Dawood, SAPM for CPEC Khalid Mansoor and senior officers were also present.
The CEO’s delegation lauded the investors’ friendly policies of the Government and expressed interest in investing in Pakistan.
The Prime Minister while welcoming the delegation stated that the Government is wholeheartedly implementing “Ease-of-doing-business” policy, offering incentives to investors and making administrative processes easy. The Prime Minister stated that he will hold monthly meetings in order to review progress regarding issues faced by Chinese investors.
The Prime Minister stated that Pakistan can learn a lot from Chinese experience for industrial growth. He said that Chinese investment will increase employment opportunities and provide skilled learning to local labor.
The Prime Minister said that there is a huge potential in small and medium enterprise in Pakistan and Chinese entrepreneurs can play important part in their growth. He said that sectors including agriculture, fisheries, vegetable & fruit farming, enhancing productivity of cattle, IT & Technology and small industries should be focused upon.
The Prime Minister assured every possible cooperation from the Government to facilitate investors.
