This is with reference to News dated 11.08.2021 aired at GNN. REBUTTAL It has been observed that response submitted to a National Assembly Question on 10th August, 2021, pertaining to ‘Collection of Funds for Diamer Bhasha Dam’ has been reported out of context. The Ministry of Water Resources (MoWR) reiterates the fact that Hon’able Supreme Court established ‘Prime Minister and Chief Justice of Pakistan Fund for Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand Dam’ and is its sole custodian. MoWR or WAPDA has no lien whatsoever on subject fund, its investment or re-investment. The data presented in the National Assembly is obtained from Supreme Court’s Official Website and is publicly available online.
