Islamabad- In a follow up of high profile meeting held last week to revise strategy to counter the menace of drugs in society, the Federal Minister for Narcotics Control was briefed by the DG ANF. The briefing included detailed layout plan to start countrywide crackdown against drug dealers and suppliers. The Minister said that the consultation with all stakeholders was completed and the plan should be immediately executed. As discussed in the previous meeting, it was finalized that Intelligence based operations will be an integral part of the revised strategy. The Minister vowed to ensure that zero tolerance policy will be adopted for drug suppliers.
Detailed report of progress made in the crackdown against drugs will soon be shared with the Prime Minister Imran Khan as per instructions.
