Federal Minister for Industries & Production Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyar met the delegation of Coca-Cola Icecek Pakistan (CCI Pakistan) led by Mr. Ahmet Kursad Ertin, General Manager, including Mr. Syed Omar, Director Public Affairs and Communications and Mr. Basit Pirzada, Manager Public Affairs & Communications this afternoon. Mr. Kamran Ali Afzal, Secretary Industries and Production also present at the occasion.
The delegation of CCI Pakistan was here to share details of the ground breaking of a new state-of-the-art Coca-Cola production plant in Haripur KP with an investment of USD 50 Million.
During the meeting, Mr. Ahmet briefed the Minister that CCI Pakistan has invested USD 500 Million in the last few years and is operating with 6 plants in Pakistan. Mr. Syed Omar, Director Public Affairs and Communications apprised the Minister of the social and economic contributions to the people of Pakistan by the company.
The Minister welcomed the business expansion plan by CCI Pakistan and said that the investment is reflection of the Government’s successful pro-investment & pro-business polices. Further, he assured the government's full support for Company's investment plans and shared Prime Minister's vision to make Pakistan a economic hub. He said that industrial growth would create new jobs and support ancillary industries, as the business grows further.
At the end, Mr. Ahmet, GM also presented the CCI Pakistan’s Socio-Economic Impact Report conducted by Lahore University of Management Sciences to the Minister & Secretary.
