Federal Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination and President Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Secretary IPC and DG PSB met with FIFA normalization committee member Barrister Hasris Azmat today in her office, in Islamabad. The honorable minister has reiterated during the meeting that the govt of Pakistan and Pakistan sports board shall continue to follow the policy of non interference in the affairs of PFF. She has emphasized that govt has been strictly following the policy of neutrality and impartially in the matter. However, it is imp to highlight that the present turmoil has caused irreparable loss to the game of football in Pakistan. The govt is attempting to act as facilitator to accelerate the process of settlement of the dispute in an amicable manner. The federal govt expects that the football house to be vacated in compliance of the direction of the FIFA and also that the normalization committee may follow the road map and the time frame for conducting the elections in a fair free and transparent manner under NC with in the framework of the FIFA statues. The Government wants peaceful resolution of the matter while upholding the international obligations.
