Mr. Aamir Ali Khan, Chairman Securities & Exchange Commission (SECP) of Pakistan called on the Federal Minister for Finance & Revenue, Shaukat Tarin, at the Finance Division – 23 April, 2021. The Chairman briefed the Finance Minister about working of SECP as the financial regulatory agency to encourage investment and foster economic growth & prosperity in Pakistan. He also updated the Finance Minister about recent steps being taken to facilitate businesses through digitization of regulatory processes and other such initiatives. The Finance Minister appreciated the SECP and affirmed to extend full support for promoting an enabling business friendly environment in the country.
