SECRETARY IT DIRECTS SPEEDY COMPLETION OF PROJECTS

Federal Secretary Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui chaired meeting regarding Progress Review of PSDP Projects for FY-2020-21 held at the committee room of the Ministry of IT & Telecom on Thursday. The meeting reviewed in detail all the IT projects and assess the working on the projects. The representatives of National Information Technology Board (NITB), Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Special Communications Organization (SCO) and Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) briefed the chair about the pace of work on the projects and funds' utilization plan. While addressing the meeting, Federal Secretary Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui gave the direction for accelerating the work on all the projects. He said that the work on all the projects should be timely completed and in transparent manner. The Secretary IT also lauded the attached departments for their speedy work on their respective projects and asked them to indicate any hurdle for its quick removal. The meeting was attended by senior officers of Ministry of IT & Telecom and representatives from the attached departments.
