NCOC HELD EXCLUSIVE SESSION WITH PUNJAB AND KP
Islamabad: March 27, 2021

In the wake of alarmingly rising trend of disease, an exclusive NCOC session was held under chairmanship of the National control operation (NCOC) Chief Mr Asad Umar / Chief minister Punjab Usman Buzdar and Health Ministers Punjab & KP attended the session. Grave concern was shown on disease spread and massive disregard to COVID SOPs by general population.Provinces were requested to ensure implementation of SOPs through strict administrative actions. Further actions to curb the disease spread were considered. A follow up session with Provincial Chief secretaries will be held tomorrow for consideration of additional measures for disease control. Concern was shown on slower rate of vaccination. Senior citizen above 70 years of age are requested to visit any nearby vaccination center along with CNIC to get on spot vaccination. Citizen from 60-70 years of age are being vaccinated by scheduling through National Immunisation Management System (NIMS).
