The Embassy organized a function at the Chancery premises to observe National Day Celebrations of Pakistan. Many participants attended the event including members of
Pakistani community and members from the civil society, says a press release received here today from Tunisia.
Programme of the event included flag hoisting ceremony, reading out messages of the President, the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister of Pakistan and key note address by the Charge d’ Affaires (a.i) of Pakistan to Tunisia.
The Speaker welcomed the members of Pakistani community and thanked them for
their participation. In his remarks, he highlighted the significance of the day. He mentioned the sacrifices and struggle made by our forefathers under the dynamic leadership of the
Quaid-e-Azam and determined to work for the country with unity and integrity. According to him, the democratic government is building new Pakistan based on Islamic principles of
