Mr. Sajid Bilal, Ambassador of Pakistan to Egypt, presented his Credentials to H.E. Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt in an impressive ceremony conducted at the Presidential Ittihadia Palace in Cairo, says a press release received here today from Cairo.
The Ceremony included a guard of honour and playing of the national anthem of Pakistan by the Egyptian military band.
In his brief interaction, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan to President Sisi and the brotherly people of Egypt.
President Sisi reciprocated the sentiments and hoped that the Ambassador will play an active role in strengthening the existing cooperative and cordial ties between the two countries.
Besides the Pakistani Ambassador, sixteen other resident/non-resident Ambassadors presented their Credential during the ceremony. The Egyptian Foreign Minister was also present on the occasion.
