Ministry of Law and Justice has sought Rs. 250 million, grant-in-aid for the Balochistan Bar Council, from the Finance Ministry. The funds were sought at the request of Balochistan Bar Council amid the Covid-19 pandemic that has impacted the work and livelihoods of the lawyers of Balochistan in an adverse way. Although the economic impact of Covid-19, on the lawyers around Pakistan has been enormous, the Lawyers in Balochistan Province have been hit hard by the pandemic in particular. Law Ministry is fully aware of the challenges faced by the lawyers in the province and has sought assistance in order to ameliorate the situation.
