Sardar Masood Khan, President Azad Jammu and Kashmir, has said that Kashmiris are peace loving people, we hate war and fighting. We dislike terrorism; we are advocate of diplomacy, peace, harmony and dialogue. Kashmiri nation wants to become the symbol of cooperation and coordination in the region.
“Despite Indian atrocities and barbarism on unarmed people of Occupied Kashmir, we invite Indian rulers to come back on the table of negotiation because their crime against humanity will have disastrous results for the regional and international peace”, he said
President asked international community to come forward for the peaceful resolution of long standing Kashmir dispute and give up double standard towards Kashmir. While addressing a function in Muzaffarabad in connection with the one hundred and fortieth birthday anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The President, Sardar Masood Khan said that Kashmir was always a theater of war because of Inidan’s mass killings in IOK and its violation of LOC resulting in causalities of both civilian and armed forces.
While welcoming President Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain in Muzaffarabad, he thanked people and government of Pakistan for their unprecedented support for the people of Kashmir who are rendering matchless sacrifices for their right to self-determination. He said that Visit of President Pakistan will be a source of inspiration and courage for us. While remembering father of the nation, Sardar Masood Khan said that Muhammad Ali Jinnah is a leader of Muslims of South Asia and hero Muslim World. He said, renowned American historian and biographer Stanley Wolpert has said “Few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation-state. Mohammad Ali Jinnah did all three.”
President AJK said, Quaid-i-Azam has visited Kashmir four times before nineteen forty seven (1947). He declared that Kashmir is juggler vain of Pakistan. The time has proved the reality of this quotation. “Defense, security and prosperity of the Pakistan is directly linked with Kashmir” as Azad Khashmir and Gilgit Baltistan provide a thick wall of defense to Pakistan. Irrigations of the fields of Punjab, Baluchistan, KPK and Sindh are not possible without the rivers flowing out from Kashmir. We have strong bonds with each other, our routes and markets are common. He said, we are fully capable to defend this juggler of vain of Pakistan. We are determined to play our role for economically strong, politically enlightened and prosperous Pakistan. Azad Kashmir will be the center of center of trade, industry, energy and education. Thus this region will become the sword and shield of Pakistan.
On this occasion, President Mamnoon Hussain has asked India to end its illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a function in Muzaffarabad on Friday, he urged the international community to support Kashmiri people for the sake of peace in the region and beyond. He said despite using every tactic of oppression, the Indian forces have failed to suppress the liberation movement in Occupied Kashmir.
Mamnoon Hussain said that Pakistan has always supported the Kashmiri people and will continue to stand by them till they get their right of self-determination. He said the Kashmiri youth have infused a new spirit to the liberation movement. He also appreciated the dedication and commitment of the Kashmiri leadership to take forward the Kashmir movement.
