Director General Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, Rear Admiral Muhammad Shuaib HI(M) called on Federal Minister for Narcotics Control, Muhammad Azam Khan Swati today.
Director General Pakistan Maritime Security Agency briefed on the matters related to maritime border security against illicit drug trafficking.
During the meeting, Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Muhammad Azam Khan Swati said that our aim is to have a safer community free of drugs. “Enforcement officials have a critical role to play in curbing the narcotics”, he said.
Federal Minister said that “The government is devising a strict legislation to give exemplary punishment to drug traffickers and peddlers.”
Federal Minister Muhammad Azam Khan Swati appreciated the efforts of Pakistan Maritime Security Agency for playing a critical role in making the maritime borders secure against the menace of illegal drug trafficking.
