AMBASSADOR OF SPAIN CALLS ON FEDERAL MINISTER FOR IT AND TELECOMMUNICATION SYED AMIN UL HAQUE
Islamabad: October 28, 2020

Ambassador of Spain in Pakistan Manuel Duran Gimenez-Rico called on Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque on Wednesday. Federal Minister for IT&Telecom welcomed the Spanish Ambassador in office, and matters of mutual interest and relating to information technology were discussed during the meeting. Member IT Syed Junaid Imam was also present in the meeting. The two sides agreed to increase cooperation in the field of IT and Telecommunication. Federal Minister for IT said both Pakistan and Spain are enjoying cordial relations. He said that environment in Pakistan for foreign investment is conducive, adding that investment can be made in different sectors especially in IT and Telecommunication. The Federal Minister for IT said that Ministry of IT is also taking steps for provision of broadband services across the country. Spanish Ambassador lauded Ministry of IT's role in promotion of IT and Telecommunication sector. Earlier, Member IT Syed Junaid Imam briefed the Spanish ambassador about projects of Ministry of IT.
