Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari gave his message on 6th September through his twitter and said “6 Sept: Salute to the valiant soldiers & officers who fought bravely & many were martyred. The Battle of Chawinda, the largest tank battle since WWII, halted Indian attack in Sialkot campaign; our heroes of PAF; the Navy's attack on Dwarkha; these get lost in the macro analysis. She further said “For Pakistan the success was in thwarting Indian designs at a time when we suffered from relying solely on US for only supplies/spares unlike India. Our move towards indigenisation of weapons production & nuclear capability has allowed us to establish deterrence in our region. She also highlighted “But what is equally critical is unity of purpose and a correct assessment of enemy intent, capability & political beliefs & compulsions.
