Department of Libraries Islamabad has arranged three day Book Exhibition in connection with Independence Day celebrations from 18th to 20th August, at Quaid Public Library, F-9 Park, Islamabad. Director General, Department of Libraries & Director General, ICTA Syeda Shafaq Hashmi inaugurated the Book Exhibition at Quaid Public Library, F-9 Park, Islamabad on 18th August 2020. The exhibition is part of Islamabad Reads Campaign launched by ICT Administration’s Department of Libraries to promote book reading culture amongst citizens. The purpose of the exhibition is to pay tribute to the sacrifices and struggle of unknown heroes, martyrs, refugees and renowned personalities of Pakistan Movement. This exhibition is to keep afresh the Ideology of Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the minds of present and future generations of the nation. Keeping in view the COVID-19 S.O.Ps, there is an open invitation for the public to visit the exhibition from 10:00 am to 06:pm at Quaid Public Library F-9 Park Islamabad.
