Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority on the auspicious occasion of the 74th Independence Day, held an impressive flag hoisting ceremonies at different Airports.
The main Independence Day flag hoisting and cake cutting ceremony was held at Islamabad International Airport where Federal Minister for Aviation, Ghulam Sarwar Khan hoisted national flag to commemorate the sacrifices made by our forefathers during the freedom struggle.
Senior Joint Secretary Aviation Division, Abdul Sattar Khokhar along with senior officials of CAA also attended the ceremony.
“I extend my heartiest felicitations to all Pakistanis, living within the country and abroad, on the occasion of Independence Day”, Minister expressed.
He said that this day reminds us of the unmatched sacrifices rendered by our forefathers to protect and safeguard our motherland.
In his address, Federal Minister for Aviation has stressed upon unity and harmony among the ranks of the nation for achieving the national objectives of progress and prosperity.
The management of CAA at Islamabad International Airport decorated the airport with flags, buntings and balloons while the terminal building was illuminated as well.
Later, under the Prime Minister clean and green program, Federal Minister for Aviation also planted the tree at green belt of Islamabad International Airport.
