Phase wise engagement of Corona Relief Tiger Force to effectively utilise services of registered volunteers. Usman Dar

Special Assistant to PM on Youth Affairs, Muhammad Usman Dar has asked for enhanced coordination among various tiers of civil administration in view to maximize service delivery of volunteers registered under PM's Corona Relief Tiger Force (CRTF). Appreciating the spirit of volunteerism among CRTF, the SAPM said that thier passion of community work during covid-19 pandemic is most appreciable. Mr. Dar underlined that out of 185000 volunteers called for duties, about 45000 have been assigned tasks and they are performing various duties in assistance of the civil administration in different parts of the country. He further highlighted that there will be a phase-wise engagement of about one million registered volunteers in view to utilize services of maximum number of CRTF. Mr. Dar said this while holding meetings via video link with commissioners Sargodha (Dr. Farah Masood), Faisalabad (Mr. Ishrat Ali) and Multan (Mr. Shan ul Haq) divisions, separately. Respective Deputy Commissioners of all districts falling in these divisions shared updated status of duties assigned to volunteer of CRTF. It was informed during these meetings that steering committees at districts and tehsils levels have been constituted in all districts of these divisions. The Deputy Commissioners apprised that volunteers have been called for assigning various duties in their respective districts. It was informed that majority of the volunteers in these districts are deputed at mosques for ensuring SoP, registration of unemployed labor in Ehsas Kafalat programme, visiting markets for checking prices, reporting hoarding and reporting availability of subsided items on utility stores. It was further informed that volunteers are assigned duties after proper orientation sessions by the concerned district administration.
