Federal Minister Aviation Division Ghulam Sarwar Khan chaired a meeting of committee constituted to discuss issues pertaining to Islamabad International Airport. The meeting was attended by SAPM on Accountability Shahzad Akbar, Representative of Ministry of Law and Justice, Secretary Aviation Division Hasan Nasir Jamy and other senior Officers of the Aviation Division. The committee deliberated upon the terms of reference pertaining to issues regarding the Islamabad International Airport. The Secretary Aviation briefed the participants on the actions taken by the Aviation Division on TORs of the committee. Project Director Islamabad International Airport also updated the committee on the current state of litigation and arbitration of Islamabad International Airport disputes. Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that all of the relevant Ministries should work together in order to dispose of all of the pending matters in the courts and in arbitration. He said that these cases have cost the national exchequer millions of rupees and it is high time that these matters should be dealt with.
