While meeting with Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue, Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM), Aon Abbas Buppi briefed about the organization’s relief activities for the vulnerable populace of the country.
He also underlined the initiatives to make the organization accessible to the beneficiaries of less developed and remote areas. “Following the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan, poverty linked concerns of the people are being addressed at their door steps by empowering the Provincial Directorates of PBM.”, he told. Managing Director PBM also informed the Adviser to PM about the organization’s budget allocation with respect to the population and poverty ratio of those districts which had been ignored in the past.
Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh admired the proactive initiatives for reducing the poverty in Pakistan. Agreeing the proposals of the Managing Director for opening the PBM’s Assignment Accounts to Regional Level and transfer of funds on Quarterly basis, Adviser to PM on Finance and Revenue assured for the implementation.
