Secretary Aviation, Hassan Nasir Jamy has inaugurated a new ramp at Islamabad International Airport on Thursday. The ramp is constructed to provide direct access from carpark to the International Departures for the facilitation of passengers and meeters / greeters, visiting Islamabad International Airport. The project is completed by Engineering Services Directorate Civil Aviation Authority within a short time of 4 months. In future 3 more ramps are planned for direct access from carpark as per following details with completion time of 12 months including, Ramp II from Carpark to Domestic Departures, Ramp III from Carpark to International Arrivals ,Ramp IV from Carpark to Domestic Arrivals. It is expected that comfort level of passengers and meeters / greeters will increase and add a value to the service level of airport.
Later, In line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran khan Federal Secretary also planted tree in the green belt of IIAP. Secretary Aviation/ DG CAA is taking keen interest to make the campaign a success for positive climate change effects in future.
