State Minister for SAFRON and Narcotics Control, Shehryar Khan Afridi Tuesday arrived here at Doaba city, Hangu to pay his condolences to the family of minor girl Madeeha who was found dead in mysterious condition here and met with the father of victim Omar Khan and grandfather Haji Gul Rehman. DIG Police Tayyab Hafeez Cheema gave briefing on the conducted investigation to the minister.
Expressing his gratitude to the minister, Haji Gul Rehman said he is thankful to the federal and provincial government who supported them at every step. Further he added that he had no enemies.
"Minister Shehriyar Khan Afridi has come to our faraway area to pay his condolences for which I'm entirely grateful and we are also satisfied with the investigation of the case." -Haji Gul Rehman Victim's family is fully cooperating with the investigation for the case. In the light of this barbaric event Mr. Afridi gave the statement that events like these are a disgrace to humanity. This is against our traditions and values, he said. He said he is in touch with the police from Dudan.
The minister said the government stands by the victim's family. It will exhaust all of its resources to bring the culprits to justice. Mr. Afridi said he visited to Doaba on the orders of Prime Minister Imran Khan. IG Police was also present on the occasion. According to DIG Police a lady doctor did the post mortem according to law.
Parents must stay more cautious towards the security of their children. State is aware of its duty towards them. However, parents must also do their part to stop such events from happening.
Laws are made to protect humans and humanity. Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed a law in the cabinet to give death sentence to such accused. The state is working to implement it. Efforts are underway to make an example out of such monsters.
Media is the fourth pillar of the state. It should play a key role in running awareness campaigns against such crimes.
The case is under investigation. It was ensured by the DIG police that with advanced technology, the culprit will soon be arrested and will be brought to justice.
