1.UNSG visited Darbar Sahib Kartarpur Corridor today, which is a Pakistan Government initiative of visa free corridor for Sikh Community.
2.UNSG was received by:-

b. DG South Asia (MOFA)
c. Chairman ETPB
3.UNSG Visited project areas including Bhai Ajeeta Jee Bazar, Zero Point, Border Terminal and Gurdwara Complex by bus.
4.During visit to Border Terminal UNSG was briefed regarding facilitation being rendered to all Yatrees coming from India. Border Terminal has the capacity to facilitate visit of 5000 to 10000 Yatrees per day.
5.During visit of the Corridor, UNSG was apprised with special flood protection measures undertaken for the safety of Gurdwara by diverting the River Ravi and construction of Flood Bunds. Moreover, entire Corridor is fenced with the state of the art measures to ensure security of Yatrees.
6.UNSG visited Gurdwara Complex where he was briefed by the project director regarding construction of Corridor and state of the art facilities for visiting pilgrims and adherence to religious sentiments and rituals.
7.After short brief UNSG, visited main Gurdwara where he was briefed by Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) on practices and rituals of Sikh Religon. UNSG also interacted with Sikh Yatrees visiting from all over the world.
8.UNSG visited Kartarpur Museum where paintings depicting different aspects covering Sikhism were on display. Kartarpur Model was presented to UNSG. During visit to Lungar Khana, UNSG preferred having Vegetarian Langar while sitting on the ground, respecting Sikh Religious values and teachings which were praised by everyone.
9.UNSG specially visited Sarover where he performed Sikh Religious ritual of Chola.
10.Before his departure, UNSG shared his sentiments while acknowledging unprecedented Pakistan Government’s initiative, while declaring Darbar Sahib Kartarpur Corridor as the best symbol of interfaith harmony, religious tolerance and world peace.
