Japan is a trustable partner and extending support since 1954 for socio-economic development of Pakistan. Bi-Annual Portfolio Review Meeting of various projects funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) was held on 28th January, 2020 under the chairmanship of Dr. Syed Pervaiz Abbas, Secretary, Economic Affairs Division. The meeting was attended by the Embassy of Japan, JICA's representatives along with the concerned representatives from Federal and Provincial Governments. The purpose of the meeting was to review the implementation status of the ongoing projects pertaining to energy, infrastructure development, irrigation and health. Participants from Implementing Agencies like NTDC, NHA, C&W Department KPK, Irrigation Department Punjab and Ministry of Heath, Services, Regulations and Coordination attended the meeting and assured their support for completing the activities as per the project timelines.
