Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi was given a Lunch in his honor for taking reformatory steps in the ministry for facilitation of the employees. Secretary, Maritime Affairs Rizwan Ahmed, Chairmen PQA, KPT, GPA and all officials of the ministry were invited to the event. The employees lauded the efforts of the Minister for resolving their issues and also praised the complaint redressal mechanism which has been proven efficient in this regard.
It was for the very first time that a federal minister not only met with the employees, but also heard the concerns voiced by them in such an event, said a participant. "We must all leave a legacy in our respective capacities at the ministry.
