Japan will fully support the Pakistan's transition to eco-friendly Electric vehicles - Ambassador of Japan at Tree Plantations Ceremony in Japan Emabassy, Islamabad
Islamabad: November 20, 2019

The embassy of Japan to Pakistan in line with Prime Minister Imran Khan's vision joined the Clean Green Pakistan initiative by planting a tree at the compound of the Japanese Embassy during a tree plantation ceremony held earlier today. Mr. Kuninori Matsuda, ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, together with the chief guest, Mr. Malik Amin Aslam Advisor to PM on Climate Change planted a Jasmine tree at the compound of the embassy as a symbol of promotion of greenery in Pakistan. In support of the green event Mr. Kuninori Matsuda, Ambassador of Japan presented a Green Rose made with origami, traditional Japanese paper artwork to the Advisor to PM on Climate Change Mr. Malik Amin Aslam. Advisor to PM on Climate Change Mr. Malik Amin Aslam thanked the Japanese Ambassador Mr. Kuninori Matsuda for supporting PM's Clean Green Pakistan initiative and joining 10 Billion Tree Tsunami Advisor to PM on Climate Change Mr. Malik Amin Aslam appreciated Japanese government offer to support Pakistan in implementation of Electric Vehicle policy as Japan is automobile leader. The Advisor said this will also help in reducing pollution as transport is the biggest contributor to air pollution in Pakistan. Mr. Matsuda, Amb. of Japan to Pakistan said we appreciate the massive afford station project 10 Billion Tree Tsunami by Pakistan. He said, Japan being the biggest automobile manufacturer will fully support Pakistan's transition to eco-friendly Electric Vehicles. After the ceremony, green tea for served to support the green and healthy activity.
